Fresh and fruity instead of real Italian?

The satirical magazine "Der Postillon" made the pizza maker Dr.

Oetker made a creative proposal, now the network is discussing.

Fürth - “Der Postillon” is usually known for its satirical contributions in the style of newspaper articles and agency reports.

According to his own statement, "everything that is in the

postilion

[...] is satire and thus brazenly lied to".

Now Germany's largest daily newspaper in the world, as it calls itself, seems to have switched to the food industry.

Instead of a political cartoon, the satire website posted a curious pizza creation as food for thought for Dr.

Oetker.

A wild discussion ensued about pineapples, strawberries, sauerkraut and chainsaws.

Dr.

Oetker receives a funny suggestion: "For people who don't like pineapples on their pizza"

There is an ongoing battle between the fronts: does pineapple belong on a pizza or not?

Pizza Hawaii divides humanity, because while one party appreciates the fruity note on the otherwise hearty dish, the opponents are only disgusted at the thought of the yellow extra on the pizza.

To end the discussion about the exotic pizza variant, the

postillon

quickly replaced the fruit.

"For people who don't like pineapple on their pizza: Dr.

Oetker is launching Pizza Hawaii with strawberries, ”announced the magazine.

“The Postillon” sparked discussion: strawberries instead of pineapples on Hawaiian pizza

Immediately a heated discussion broke out about strawberries on a pizza.

Enthusiastic users celebrated the possible end of the Hawaiian pizza: "Wow, finally, thank you, Dr.

Oetker.

Best news for Christmas!

And is that really still with liver sausage? ".

For others, the innovation wasn't enough and they complemented the creation with peanut butter or "extra sauerkraut, tree bark crumble and a bite of surstromming".

There seemed to be no end to the creativity of the users, but defenders of the classic Hawaiian pizza also gave their best.

"Before that I would swallow a running chainsaw before I eat something," wrote a follower.

A second agreed: "If I were to show this to my Italian colleague, I would have to reanimate him."

Dr.

Oetker reacts to satirical suggestion: "Quite unsporting"

Coincidence or not, the

postilion

posted the proposal on December 21st, precisely at the time when Dr. Oetker was during the Christmas break. It wasn't until two weeks later that the manufacturer reacted to the tweet: “Quite unsporting to publish something like this during our well-deserved vacation. But now hand out your pants, who would buy? ”Many, because some see potential in the

Postillon

creation and made specific suggestions as to what the strawberry pizza should look like. With strawberries and bacon, one gentleman offered what another found rather repulsive: “How disgusting, what a shame about the bacon. Everyone knows that strawberries only go well with thick meat sausage ”. Taste is discussable.

While some are arguing about the topping of a frozen pizza, others are already defrosting it.

A TikToker presented an unusual method of preparation and guaranteed: You have certainly never prepared frozen pizza like this: "It's not all bad on TikTok after all".

The dish can also be a real pleasure in the pan, but does it taste better than in the oven?
