(ANSA) - NEW DELHI, 07 JAN - Obligation of quarantine of seven days, at home or in hotel, for all international travelers arriving in India: this is imposed by a measure decided today by the Indian Minister of Health, to combat the spread of the Omicron variant in the country .
The obligation will apply to everyone, regardless of the result, positive or negative, of the test carried out at the airport, upon entering the country.
At the eighth day it will be mandatory to undergo a new molecular test.
Until now, this measure only applied to travelers from countries on the "at risk" list.
