Do you want to save calories in the New Year but still enjoy?
Then you should try this delicious mug cake recipe because it is low carb.
New Year's resolutions such as “eat healthier” or lose weight with a low-carb diet are all well and good - but difficult to keep if you have an appetite for something sweet. Hence the good news: You don't have to go completely without goodies like pancakes, pizza and cakes, which are typically high in calories. You just have to know which ingredients have to be exchanged and how to save carbohydrates. The following mini cake recipe, for example, does not contain any flour or sugar - the enemies of any low-carb diet. Instead, you can make do with a sugar substitute such as xylitol or coconut blossom sugar and replace regular wheat flour with coconut flour. And yet the taste is not neglected here, because the cake contains delicious chocolate drops. And the advantages of the recipe don't stop there: it is prepared in a flash, because it is a cup cake that is easily baked in the microwave. Perfect when you suddenly crave sweets.

Microwave cup cake: quick low-carb recipe
First, whisk the egg in a large mug with a fork.
Then stir in the melted butter and milk.
Now add the dry ingredients except for the chocolate chips and stir everything into a homogeneous dough.
(If it is too firm, you can add another sip of milk.)
Fold a few chocolate drops under the batter and distribute the majority on top.
Cook the mug cake for 2.5 to 3 minutes at 700 watts in the microwave.
Check the consistency and, if necessary, put it in the microwave for another 30 seconds - but not too long, otherwise it will dry out.
Then you can spoon the
low-carb cake
straight out of the cup and enjoy!
