    The researchers aimed to analyze the effects of not recovering from the disease weeks or months after the acute episode.


    Among the symptoms that were reported most frequently in the post-illness period, there were fatigue (22%), headache (20%), weakness (13%) and persistent muscle pain (10%). ).

And thanks to this research, they found that people who were fully vaccinated (with two or more doses) were less likely to report any of these symptoms.

The reduction was 64% for fatigue, 54% for headache, 57% for weakness, and 68% for persistent muscle pain.
