New surge in infections in Veneto: the positives detected yesterday were 21,056, the highest figure in the region since the beginning of the pandemic.
The total number of infected since that time is 749,781.
This was revealed by the bulletin of the Veneto Region.
There are also 19 deaths compared to yesterday, for a total number of 12,539 victims.
The clinical situation worsens: 1,518 Covid patients (+43) and 209 (+4) in intensive care are hospitalized in the ordinary wards.
There are 172,661 people currently positive and in isolation.
