In the decade since her marriage to Prince William in 2011, the Duchess of Cambridge has put forth a wardrobe that is much more expressive than it appears. As she celebrates her 40th birthday this Sunday, January 9, back on a pace that has become more and more evident over the years.

If there is one look that attracts endless media interest, it's Kate Middleton.

For several years, she continued these tributes under the eyes of a tender audience,giving in the pie shovel collars, balloon sleeves, little pleated knee-length dresses and polka dots: everyone remembers the day she introduced her son Georges to the press in a blue dress with white polka dots, almost identical to the one worn by Diana in 1985.
