The pair of singers Marina Maximilian and Guy Mentche surprised us all last week when they revealed that we got married in a small event after eight years of marriage and two girls.
Although the celebration was modest, Maximilian did not give up on a luxurious tasteful wedding dress by fashion designer Anya Fleet.
"I got to know Marina Maximilian thanks to the music, and when Guy came to us with Marina as a partner it was a huge moment, and since then friendships of years and great love have developed," she says.
"I dress Marina for a lot of her shows and events, and there are items I created inspired by her and for her. At her birthday celebration she casually said she would jump in to choose a tiny ceremony dress they do, without making much of a fuss about it, which is very typical of Marina," reveals Refugee.
"We chose a dress within two hours of measurements, made adjustments and finished just in time. The dress is made from French vintage competition, with chiffon and silk combined in soft layers on top of each other with lace stripes on the front that emphasize the long and noble necklines," says Fleet.
"This is a dress that is very characteristic of my design style, the garment is light as a feather and is worn with a body-colored bottom dress. "It's a total look haute couture in a noble line with a bohemian twist," she concludes.
In addition to Marina's wedding dress, Fleet also designed Guy Menach's groom's trousers.
"Guy's pants are my best-selling pants. They were designed as women's pants, and their cut turned out to be a unisex that flatters men as well. Guy loves to dress, and it's most flattering to me that he wore them to the canopy."
