Kate Middleton, these photos so characteristic of a future queen

Kate Middleton celebrates her 40th birthday this Sunday, January 9.

The prime of life, they say.

To mark the occasion, the Duchess of Cambridge unveiled a series of official portraits, captured by fashion photographer Paolo Roversi.

Clichés which establish a little more its fabric of potential future queen.

Looking at camera and happy smile

In the first black and white photo, Kate Middleton appears in profile, shoulder and head open, in a crisp white chiffon dress. The pearls she wears having belonged to her late mother-in-law Lady Diana. On another, in color this time, she shines in a bright red, asymmetrical outfit. Hands in pockets, looking at the camera and smiling happily, Kate Middleton is solar, and seems to fully assume her 40 years. To mark this anniversary, the Duchess wore dresses by Alexander Mcqueen, a designer she is particularly fond of and who has accompanied her for many years. During her marriage to Prince William in 2011, she notably wore a magnificent dress created by the label.

The official Twitter account of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said three portraits have been taken, but so far only two have been released.

They can be admired at the National Gallery in London, a museum of which she is the sponsor.

Appreciated for her commitments, her beauty and her discretion, Kate Middleton has, over the years, carved out a place of choice for herself within the royal family, becoming a full-fledged figure of the British monarchy.

Passionate about the piano since childhood, she had created a surprise last December, during the Christmas concert at Westminster Abbey, of which she was the organizer.

Called “Royal Carols: Together at Christmas”, the event was dedicated to caregivers and volunteers who worked throughout the pandemic.

Graceful, as usual, the mother of George, Charlotte and Louis had come a little closer to her country by revealing to her this hidden talent.
