Against the background of rising prices in the economy, any savings are significant.
Many consumers who want to save can find second-hand products in good condition and at a significant discount, which are sold at various second-hand sites or at all kinds of special sales, which also offer items that have not yet been used.
These ways of selling are also suitable for environmental awareness, since what someone bought and did not want in the end, could be someone else's 'gold'.
And in other cases these are products that have been lost, and the management of the place has put them up for auction.

The Executioner, for example, sells the items taken from the creditors through the BidSpirit website through an auction method. As part of the opening of an execution case, advanced collection procedures are in place for the purpose of collecting the debt and they include, among other things, the removal of movables offered for sale. The sale is carried out online as an auction through a supplier who specializes in the sale of movables, and the supplier's details and sale dates appear on the Enforcement Authority's website. You can pre-register on the site and view the items offered for sale, each of which has a starting opening price, and higher prices can be offered for them. The product, of course, will be sold at a high price, and participation is conditional on the payment of a deposit of about 10% of the item price and the approval of the terms of sale on the site. The items offered for sale are in the execution warehouses, and in exceptional cases and by prior arrangement you can come to the warehouse to view the item.
"The items are sold in relation to the market price, the item itself and the bidders," the Enforcement and Collection Authority said, "Most of the items sold are appliances and tools. .

It is not written on the website how much the items were sold for.

Those who want to find items from Ali Express at a fixed discount of 20%, can do so at the "Ali Outlet" store located in the Coastal Cities Mall in Rishon Lezion, which opened three months ago.
These are items that consumers ordered and regretted so that they did not reach the recipient, or products that were sent back from the dissatisfied customer to the seller in China - but actually arrived at the store in Israel.
Maor Levy, the store owner, explains to us about the process: "We work with Ali Express' shipping company in Israel and receive all the products that people ordered from Ali Express and returned, for example shoes or a shirt in an inappropriate size. Express owners have a free return option, usually within 14 days The products are not returned to dealers in China but are passed on to us. We check that the electrical products are in good condition, and that nothing happened to the clothes, and sell the items at a 20% discount compared to the website.
"Merchants in China are insured by an insurance company, which returns money to a customer who is not interested in the item, and it rewards the merchant when they choose to send the product back. We get approval to sell the products only after customers receive the money back from Ali Express."
Asked why the products reach him and do not return to sellers in China, Levy answers: "Shipping costs in the last year and a half have risen from $ 2,000 per container to about $ 16,000. Therefore it is no longer profitable to return the products, and it is better to sell them cheaper in Israel. "Come to us, see the products, measure clothes and check the electronics. If any product does not work, we give a full refund within 14 days of purchase. Ali Express is not involved."
How many products come to the store?
You have nothing to worry about, there will always be something there for you.
"There are between 3,000 and 5,000 products a month that customers return," says Levy, "so there is an unlimited amount of cheap products originally, which became cheaper after the discount. And if you want to return or exchange an item, it is possible - according to Israeli law."
Since these are packages that have been ordered by consumers, it is usually only one item of each type, but that does not stop buyers from arriving en masse.
"A lot of people come to us every day, even from a distance, to be impressed. It's like a trip to the warehouse, because there is only one item of each kind, but every day new products come. We have a lot of items for women, from evening dresses to wedding dresses at 500-400 prices. "NIS before the discount. There are also skimmers at NIS 100-80 before the discount, and more. At 18:00 we open the packages that arrive in the morning, and I also do not know what is in them."
Levy shares that the most sought after products are women’s clothing and women’s shoes, but there are weird items that make him wonder who would want to buy them.
"I got an ultrasound device for a baby that cost NIS 3,000, and I asked myself who needed an ultrasound for the baby. But someone came looking for just that, and for him it was a great price."
Ali Outlet Store,
Preserve the environment
Private chains offer different types of returned product sales. However, the one who has created a regular category that is offered within the branches is the popular IKEA chain, which offers the concept of "The Zion".
"The Mitzon in the store helps us contribute to the preservation of the environment and awareness of this," explains Eitan Reuven, VP of Logistics at IKEA Israel, "He gives our furniture a second chance. The idea is to take products that cannot be sold at full price, such as products that were displayed throughout the store or whose packaging was damaged. We take them to a department that checks their condition, assembles and tests them, and they are sold at a discount directly to customers. Some of the items are such that a customer has opened their packaging, regretted and returned them. We want to avoid throwing good products in the trash. "
What is the discount at which these products are sold?
This is not a bad final savings.
"The average discount is 50% -30%," says Reuven. "At a 40% discount. It varies depending on the original price and other considerations."
On the demand for products in Mitzion, he says: "Some customers are very focused and come especially to Mitzion, because new products come in almost every day. Some consumers come once or twice a week to see what has been renewed, some who move, for example, and see it as an opportunity."
And to the important question - is it possible to replace such products?
"Usually when the product is assembled there is no replacement," Reuven replies, "but it is a point matter and depends on discretion - as if it were a product bought a day or two ago and not used. When a customer buys an item and has a scratch, pricing is determined by the defect. "Took it home, I do not know which way the product went and it is difficult to price it again. However, few customers have regretted and returned products from the stock."
