2022 will be an opportunity to focus on the accomplishment of Champollion, which allowed the world to better understand ancient Egypt thanks to the decryption of hieroglyphics.
200 years after this mythical discovery, due to a brilliant 32-year-old scientist, Grenoble, Figeac, Paris and Lyon will pay homage to him, and address the fascinating question of deciphering.

To all honor, the Champollion Museum, in Figeac (Lot), his birthplace, has put together a whole program.
