Crime Vote: How did you like the farewell "police call" from Charly Huebner?

2022-01-10T08:45:35.737Z

Last corpses, last looks: the "police call", at the end of which Charly Hübner turned his back as Inspector Bukow Rostock, was a suitably emotional finale. Or do you have a different opinion?

One last look, a deep understanding: Bukow (Charly Huebner) said dryly to himself: "Yes, yes." Because it was clear: After the bloody finale, during which he shot the instigator of his father's murder, he had to turn his back on criminal morass in Rostock, while his colleague and great love king (Anneke Kim Sarnau) had to stay. The two looked at each other across the street - and knew that their ways would now part. So on Sunday the most sinister and beautiful colleague love in the Sunday crime story came to an end in the »police call«. Then Bukov sped off, presumably to Siberia, where his father had bought a piece of land before his death.

In our review we wrote: »The episode› None of us ‹is like an echo chamber into which a number of references from old König / Bukow episodes blow.

Eoin Moore was responsible for the direction and screenplay, who set the rabid, delicate tone in the TV area in the beginning and has since filmed some of the best episodes.

Moore and his co-author Anika Wangard manage to bundle the loosely fluttering narrative threads without all of it appearing too constructed - even if you have packed the crime mystery lucky bag and farewell greetings from the emotion of the historical moment a little too full. "

We give 8 out of 10 points.

What is your opinion?

Actress Sarnau will stay with the Rostock "Police Call" - she will soon investigate as a duo with Lina Beckmann, who is married to Charly Hübner in real life and has already appeared in "Police Call" as the sister of his Bukow.

Before the two of them stand in front of the camera together, there is a solo by Sarnau as Commissioner König.

Well, what does solo mean - the consistently strong supporting roles are also retained in Rostock's TV district.

Because despite all the pain about the departure of Huebner, you have to say: The Mecklenburg »police call« was always a team effort.

Fortunately, Uwe Preuss as district manager Rödel, Andreas Guenther as hotspur Pöschel and Josef Heynert deeply relaxed Thiesler (Josef Heynert) are still there.

The bridging episode has already been shot and has the working title »You can't choose your family«.

The book is by Florian Oeller, who was also responsible for the sensational episode "Sabine".

The director was Stefan Krohmer, who also made the first films with Anneke Kim Sarnau in the early 2000s.

Charly Hübner can be seen again on the screen on January 25th.

The first starts the mini improv series "Das Burial", where Hübner, as a plumber's son ("Gas, Water, Shit") has to bring his father underground.

Read an interview with SPIEGEL here in which Charly Hübner talks about the reasons for his "police call" exit.
