The last episode with Charly Huebner brought the Rostock “Polizeiruf 110” its highest number of viewers to date.
9.24 million (28.8 percent) tuned into the episode "None of Us" on Sunday evening from 8.15 p.m. on the first.
This is a record for TV investigators Sascha Bukow (Hübner) and Katrin König (Anneke Kim Sarnau).
The departure of Hübner from the NDR crime thriller was overall rather unspectacular. A lot of blood flowed in a villa, and Bukow killed his adversary Zoran Subocek (Aleksandar Jovanovic), who had mercilessly blackmailed him, in the turbulent and exciting episode. But in the end, Bukow simply drove away from Rostock University Square in a pick-up - without saying goodbye to his long-time colleague, the LKA profiler König. In turn, she made her way to the police headquarters. With König it continues in »Polizeiruf 110« at the side of actress Lina Beckmann, who in real life is the wife of Charly Hübner.
What had already emerged in the past episodes became reality - after almost twelve years - in the last episode of the Rostock police call in this constellation: The love between the two unequal investigators blossomed, they were forging marriage plans, and he used their toothbrush - however against the will of the king.
Bukow, who always showed himself to be a conflicted character, had to "sort out a lot" in his head and therefore leave now, he said as an explanation to his partner, who was in tears.
The previous best value in the series was set up in October 2019 by the episode "Dark Twin" with 8.88 million (26.3 percent).
