Despite the raging wave of omicrons, the organizers of the Hebrew language conference "Leshon Rishon" plan to hold it as usual.
The 15th conference will take place from February 8 to 10 at the Heichal Hatarbut in Rishon Lezion and will deal with the Hebrew language in a variety of aspects.
Among other things, this year he will address a conference on the issue of Hebrew's attitude toward gender.
Among the events at the conference: a musical journey that will deal with Israeli duets for generations with the participation of Shiri Maimon, Banya Barbie, Shimon Buskila, Alon Olarchik, Zehava Ben, and Nurit Galron and under the direction of Miki Kam and Natan Datner.
Another intriguing encounter will be by Rita and Tzruya Lahav under the heading “Her own language.
The conference will also feature a special performance by Ivri Lider, "Extraordinary Gender," which will include songs and a discourse on the changes that are taking place in gender checks.
Creator Noam Horev will talk about the creative process for singers and writing from a woman's throat.

There will also be a conference: Enthusiasts of Logic Crosswords; Panel on the slang dictionary of Dan Ben Amotz and Netiva Ben Yehuda celebrating 50 years, featuring Yair Nitzani, actress Bat Chen Sabag and David Gurevitch, panel "Proud Language" featuring Shir Reuven, Leon Schneiderowski and Dr. Rubik Rosenthal on the revolutionary change brought about by the proud community A meeting of the conductor David Zeba and Dr. Orit Avnery who will deal with the singing and speaking of biblical women.
As part of the conference, the Mayor of Rishon Lezion, Raz Kinstlich, will be awarded the Meir Ariel Prize for Creativity in the Hebrew Language and Its Implementation to Various Levels of the Population. The prize is NIS 36,000.
