The Udinese Calcio sports club "filed an appeal notice with the Lega Serie A Sports Judge, against the regularity of the Udinese-Atalanta championship match played yesterday".

Ansa learns this from qualified sources of the company.

The appeal arises from the opposing decisions of the League and the health authority which had respectively authorized and prohibited the dispute of the match.

The match ended 2-6 for Atalanta

Udinese Calcio announces that, following the outcome of new molecular tests carried out this morning, in addition to another staff member, a player who yesterday took part in the match against Atalanta tested positive for Covid-19.

From what we learn, the footballer is one of the athletes that the Lega Calcio considered eligible, after the ruling of the Tar, despite the provision of the Friulian ASL that had placed him in quarantine.

The Club has activated all the protocols envisaged and informed the competent health authorities.

The positive and isolated team members are 13: nine players plus 4 staff members.
