(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 11 - In November 2021 a conjunctural caloric is estimated for retail sales (-0.4% in value and -0.6% in volume).
This was announced by Istat, explaining that the sales of food goods are decreasing (-0.9% in value and -1.2% in volume), while those of non-food goods are almost stationary (0.0% in value and -0.1% volume).
On a trend basis, however, in November 2021, retail sales increased by 12.5% in value and 11.7% in volume.
In the quarter September-November 2021, in conjunctural terms, retail sales increased by 1.2% in value and 0.9% in volume, explains Istat, underlining that "sales of non-food goods grow significantly marked "(+ 2.0% in value and + 1.8% in volume), while those of food products increase in value and decrease in volume (respectively + 0.5% and -0.5%).
On a trend basis, sales of non-food goods in particular are growing (+ 22.6% in value and + 21.9% in volume), while those of good food products show a moderate increase in value (+ 0.5%) and decrease in volume (-0.9%).
