Hospital staff and medico-social workers demonstrate this Tuesday

A day of inter-union and inter-professional mobilization is organized by the CGT. They demand better working conditions and an increase in wages.


At the call of the CGT Federation of Public Services, a strike by local public officials in the “care and connection” professions is organized in Paris on Tuesday.

It concerns social, medico-social workers, animators, midwives, ATSEM, early childhood professionals, home help services and EHPAD staff.

They demand better working conditions and an increase in their remuneration.

The FDSP CGT is planning another day of strike action on Thursday, January 27.

Events for the hospital

This Tuesday January 11 is also a day of mobilization of hospital staff.

At the call of the CGT, caregivers will demonstrate to demand more resources for the public hospital, better working conditions and higher wages.

A demonstration is planned in Paris from 1 p.m.

According to the official itinerary, the procession will leave Port Royal at 1:30 p.m. on Boulevard du Montparnasse before passing to Les Invalides.

The demonstrators will then take the avenue de Villars before joining the Place Vauban where the demonstration will end.

On these axes, traffic could be disrupted.

In Bordeaux, a rally is organized from 11:30 am on the Place de la République.

It will be followed by a march to the County Council and the Prefecture.

In Nantes, a procession started from the Miroir d'eau at 10 a.m.
