This is the vast and enticing program of

Jeen-Yuhs

, an intimate documentary retracing the last twenty-one years in the life of what is now called Ye, which will arrive on February 16 on Netflix.

In a teaser unveiled Monday, we see Kanye in discussion with rapper Rhymefest in 2002, but also in the studio with Pharrell Williams, on stage or during the event presentation of his album

The Life Of Pablo

in 2016.

Directed by the duo of videographers Coodie & Chike, who had privileged access to the rapper from his beginnings as a producer until his current life as a billionaire, the documentary is divided into three parts.

The film is due to premiere at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival in January.

. Produced by Creative Control and TIME Studios, the documentary was reportedly bought by Netflix for $ 30 million, according to Billboard.

The directors promise to explore the many facets of Kanye West's life and personality, through hours of never-before-seen footage.

From his rap debut to the fiasco of his presidential campaign in 2020, through the death of his mother, his tours and recording sessions, his sensational arrival in the world of fashion, and his hyper-media private life.

The 44-year-old rapper validated the broadcast of the documentary, without participating in the production.
