The omicron epidemic is raging - the congestion is already being felt in hospitals:
37,884,000 people were diagnosed with corona yesterday (Monday).
This is according to the data published this morning by "Corona's numbers expert" Eldad Sitbon ("Little Moise").
Of course, this is the peak of the outbreak.
The positive rate stands at 11.3%.
A total of 334,000 institutional tests were conducted yesterday.
As you may recall, yesterday the presentation of the data was changed and the verified ones include those who underwent PCR tests plus those who underwent an institutional antigen test.
The adhesion coefficient (R) is 2.05.
The hospitals are hospitalized with 243 patients in critical condition, a further increase from the last figure of 221. 55 of these patients are resuscitated and another 10 are connected to an echo machine (heart-lung).
The Hadassah Medical Center announced this morning that 63 patients are hospitalized in the two corona wards at Hadassah Ein Kerem.
Among the patients, six were in critical condition (respirators) and 18 in critical condition.
Hadassah noted that "the two corona departments at Hadassah are full and our teams are already engaged in the preparation of a third corona department."
