(ANSA) - NUORO, 12 JAN - A murder was committed this afternoon between Jerzu and Gairo, in Ogliastra (Nuoro). The victim is a 38-year-old farmer from Gairo, whose personal details are not yet disclosed.
The carabinieri of the town and of the Company of Jerzu arrived on the spot.
According to an initial reconstruction by the investigators, the ambush occurred in a road in the Jerzu territory, near Gairo: the farmer was traveling in his car when he was hit by two gunshots.
A 118 team arrived on the spot, who had been reported a road accident. The medical staff tried to revive him, but there was nothing they could do. The deputy prosecutor of Lanusei, Gualtiero Battisti, is expected in the ambush site. (HANDLE).
