(ANSA) - MILAN, 12 JAN - There are two arrested in the investigation coordinated by the Milan Public Prosecutor's Office and conducted by the Squadramobile on the assaults and harassment that took place on New Year's Eve in Milan against at least nine girls.
Yesterday 18 young people believed to be the perpetrators of the violence were searched.
The two young men arrested allegedly committed "heavy almost complete sexual violence accompanied by the robbery of mobile phones and handbags": this was explained by the Milanese acting prosecutor Riccardo Targetti who announced the arrest of the two youngsters, one in Milan and one in Turin aged 21 and 18, adding that both are "second generation Italians".
The measures were carried out for a "substantial and concrete danger of escape and serious clues".
The two, in fact, were not retraced yesterday during the searches and were running away.
