GTA 6: the only rock star title for PS5 & Xbox Series X according to Insider

"GTA: The Trilogy" is the last Rockstar Games title released for the new consoles - but the game was rather a disappointment for many fans.

Rockstar Games takes a lot of time with "GTA 6".
According to an insider, it will be the only new game from the studio to appear on the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
It's the year 2022 and we still know next to nothing about the status of "GTA 6".
It's still quiet on the part of Rockstar Games.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the first official announcement and are becoming increasingly impatient.
But apart from rumors about "GTA 6" *, we have not yet had any information about the game.
From time to time, industry insiders also report on the status of the development of the new “Grand Theft Auto”.
A well-known insider assumes that "GTA 6" could be the only Rockstar game to be released for the PS5 and Xbox Series X / S *.

Rockstar Games fully focuses on "GTA 6"
The insider is the Twitter user "AccNGT", who has already written several times about the development of "GTA 6". In a question and answer session recently, one of his followers asked him how many games we can expect from Rockstar Games for this generation of consoles. His answer was, "When we talk about new games,
I think only GTA 6 will be released
."
It is clear that “GTA 7” will no longer appear for the current consoles from Sony and Microsoft.
But Rockstar Games is also the studio from which "Red Dead Redemption" comes, for example.
Recently there were rumors that
"Bully 2"
could be announced.
If the information from "AccNGT" is correct, this is not the case.
Instead,
new editions of older titles
can be expected, as was the case with "GTA: The Trilogy - Definitive Edition".
Probably sooner or later there will be a remaster of "Red Dead Redemption".
When does “GTA 6” appear?
Some time ago, the insider had also described the conditions which “affect the development of the game.
According to him, "GTA 6" is "the most chaotic project since Rockstar Games was founded".
It is therefore understandable that the studio is fully focused on this title.
“Grand Theft Auto” is, after all, the main Rockstar Games franchise.
Nothing is known about the release of "GTA 6" at the moment, but some analysts assume that the game will be on the market in 2024 at the earliest.
