Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, discussed today with the head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation, Admiral Alek Vladimirovich Zhuravlov, and his accompanying delegation, prospects for future cooperation and ways to enhance it between the two countries, especially in the educational field.
Minister Tabbaa pointed out that there are approximately 30,000 students learning the Russian language and the opening of virtual rooms to teach them in cooperation with the Russian side, stressing the importance of strengthening Syrian-Russian relations in various fields.
While Admiral Goravlov indicated that literary references were provided to schools and universities through the Russian Knowledge Authority, as well as the center's support for the educational process in Syria through the distribution of stationery and school supplies.
The Russian delegation included members of the Russian Knowledge Authority, the Russian Knowledge Society, deputies and the representative of the Russian Knowledge Authority in Syria, Dr. Salman Raya.
