If the New Year is rich in love for some, it sometimes signals a breakup for others.
One of the first couples to separate in 2022, is that formed by Jason Momoa, 42, and Lisa Bonet, 54.
Together for 16 years, the two actors announced the news Wednesday, January 12 via a joint statement, shared on the Instagram account of the interpreter of
Aquaman
, Lisa Bonet not being on social networks.
Written in white on black, it reads: "We have all felt the pressure and the changes of these times of transformation ... A revolution is unfolding and our family is no exception."
Before adding: “And so we share this new family, we separate.
We share this not because we think it is worth publishing, but so that, while continuing to lead our lives, we can do so with dignity and honesty. ”
Lisa Bonet and Jason Momoa explain that they "free themselves from each other", while specifying that they still love each other and remain devoted to each other.
And conclude this message by referring to their two children, Lola (14 years old) and Nakoa-Wolf (13 years old).
