(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 13 - The expensive energy and delays in supplies have caused an increase in the price lists of companies which will continue in the coming months. This is what emerges from the Bank of Italy survey on second-hand companies in which companies "significantly revised upwards in the last quarter of 2021 and their expectations on consumer inflation rose well beyond the 2% threshold on all horizons. "The recent rise in energy costs and difficulties in supply chains would lead to an increase in their sales prices in the next 12 months," explains the survey.
And the judgments of Italian companies on the economic situation worsen.
The expectations on its operating conditions in the first three months of the new year are less favorable than in the previous period.
Demand dynamics would be robust, but delays in supply chains and the escalation of the pandemic would entail downside risks to business for more than half of companies (ANSA).
