US actress Megan Fox and rapper Machine Gun Kelly have become engaged.
"She said yes," wrote the 31-year-old Kelly on Wednesday (local time) on Instagram and posted a short video of an emerald-diamond ring on the 35-year-old's hand.
"Yes, in this life and every life," he wrote.
Also added the date January 11th.
The "Transformers" actress linked a video of the marriage proposal to her Instagram account.
Kelly kneels in front of her in the clip, Fox does the same, he puts the ring on her and they kiss.
In July 2020, they would have sat under this banyan tree and wished for magic, Fox wrote in the comment on the video.
The relationship required a lot of work and sacrifice.
"We went through hell together, laughed more than I could ever imagine, and then he asked me if I would like to marry him." She said yes, "like in every life before this and in every life that's to come, ”Fox wrote.
Fox ended her message with the words "... and then we drank each other's blood."
However, this cannot be seen in the video.
The actress and the rapper ("Bloody Valentine"), real name Colson Baker, met in 2020 on the film set of "Midnight in the Switchgrass" in Puerto Rico.
Fox had recently separated from actor Brian Austin Green after ten years of marriage.
They have three children together, aged five to nine.
Kelly has a twelve-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.
Many fans and friends of the couple reacted to the announcement of the engagement on social networks.
"I'm so happy for both of you," wrote Kim Kardashian, for example.
Her sister Kourtney commented on Megan Fox's post with five heart emojis.
