The regulation of the collection of wild species and the prescription of specific training obligations for those who intend to practice it also represent a further tool for the defense of biodiversity. The text was widely discussed and shared, both on a technical and legal level, as part of the work carried out by the Technical Table of Medicinal Plants established in 2019 at the Mipaaf and is based on the extensive and in-depth work of collecting and analyzing scientific data. , carried out by university professors and experts from accredited research bodies, with the active collaboration of representatives of the institutions involved, professional associations, agricultural producers' associations, companies in the sector and representatives of the Regions.
Furthermore, during the State-Regions Conference, the agreement was also ratified on the draft Decree of the Mipaaf which defines the criteria and methods for granting subsidized zero-interest loans by Ismea and on investments in the reservoirs of the National Plan of interventions in the water sector.
