The diaconal facility Oberlinhaus has given notice to the director of the Potsdam home.
The employee Ines Andrea R. murdered four people with severe disabilities there at the end of April 2021.
Colleagues had criticized the manager's leadership style during the murder trial.
The home manager filed a lawsuit against her dismissal, as the spokesman for the Potsdam Labor Court, Robert Crumbach, confirmed.
The negotiation of mercy on the lawsuit will take place on Friday.
First the "Märkische Allgemeine" (Thursday edition) reported.
A spokeswoman for the Oberlinhaus initially did not want to comment on data protection upon request.
Four residents were killed and one resident was seriously injured in the dormitory.
Ines Andrea R., a 52-year-old nurse who had worked there for many years, was sentenced in December by the Potsdam Regional Court to 15 years imprisonment for four murders and multiple attempted murders.
The court also ordered the woman to be admitted to a psychiatric ward.
With the ruling, the Potsdam Regional Court largely followed the pleading of the public prosecutor's office.
Ines Andrea R. had committed the acts according to a psychiatric report in a state of significantly reduced culpability.
The defense attorney Rs had requested that the court recognize the culpability of his client.
The court found it proven that on the evening of April 28, R. had attacked and killed four people with disabilities between the ages of 31 and 56 in their rooms with a knife.
A 43-year-old resident survived the attack after an emergency operation.
The 52-year-old R. is also suing the Potsdam Labor Court against her dismissal by the Oberlinhaus.
The labor court wants to decide on this at the beginning of February.
