(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 13 - Russia sees "no reason for new security talks with the West" due to the lack of progress in the ongoing negotiations on Ukraine: Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov, one of the most senior, said this in charge of the talks in an interview with the Russian inlingua channel RTVI.
"I see no reason to sit down in the next few days, to get together again and start the same discussions," he said.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov defined - reported Tass - the talks "unsuccessful", giving an "extremely negative" evaluation of the hypotheses of US sanctions that weigh further on the negotiations.
