This Thursday, January 13, the two new stations of line 4, Barbara and Bagneux-Louise-Aubrac were inaugurated with great fanfare in the presence of the Prime Minister, Jean Castex, and the Minister Delegate in charge of Transport, Jean-Baptiste Djebbari.
“It's been more than 44 years that we expected.
It's a relief ”, rejoices a Balneolais before rushing into the stairs leading to the metro.

"To get to work, I will save 15 to 20 minutes in my commute time", estimates one user. A faster solution than the bus where “the wait in the cold” can be long, not to mention delays and traffic jams. For Patrice, every minute gained is precious: “now I will be on time and I will no longer have to run in the morning. Until now, I often had to make part of the journey on foot, to the Porte d'Orléans ”. He assures him that these two new stations will “change his daily life”.
With their elevators, these stations are among the few to be accessible to people with reduced mobility.
“I have friends in wheelchairs who will be able to come to Bagneux to see me,” says Medhi, a schoolboy, with a big smile.
In 2025, line 4 should be connected to line 15 and its automation is scheduled for 2023.
