If it sometimes happens that children of artists try to differentiate themselves from their parents - in the case of the poet Aggie Mish'ol and her musician daughter Maya Mish'ol, this is definitely not the case.

"We are very good friends," says Maya, 47.

"We share each other in the work, and also in personal life. It's most natural to me. It's also fun for us to create together and get excited about each other's work. Sometimes I consult with her during the writing process, and sometimes show her the finished product. I like to hear what "She tells me this is an important criticism."

Lane Jr. released a debut album 12 years ago.

She has since given birth to three children and become a sound therapist, and now she is returning to her old love and releasing a new single, "No Savior", which she wrote and composed.

The single is part of a six-song mini-album that Maya plans to release soon.

"Although 12 years have passed since the first album, there has been a musical occurrence in my life all along," she says.

"I did not stop writing and composing. I composed both things I wrote and songs of my mother. I put on a show together with four other friends from school at Rimon, where we put up songs of my mother that we composed. It was called 'Mother tongue: sing Aggie Mish'ol,' With us, moderating and reading songs.

"He's run a lot of times in the last few years, but recently two shows have been canceled because of the Corona. For me it's exciting. The combination of the two of us together - when I compose what she writes - it's always fun."

According to Maya, "The house I grew up in is a house that has a great appreciation for words and Hebrew, for art and music. We heard poetry at home. Mother would read and share the songs she writes, and always encouraged us to write. I developed a sensitivity to words. There is one on the beach, but for me these words are a statement about life. "
