The television broadcaster RTL hastily replaced a candidate from the jungle camp because she had falsified her vaccination card and given false information to the broadcaster.

According to SPIEGEL information, the influencer Christin Okpara was caught a few days ago leaving for South Africa with an obviously fake vaccination card.

After the check, a complaint was filed on suspicion of forgery.

On Thursday evening, RTL then announced that the show's candidate was being replaced because "disagreements about the vaccination status" had arisen after arriving in South Africa.

According to a broadcaster, there is a suspicion that Okpara lied to the production team, which is why the contract with her was terminated.

Her manager declined to comment on the process.

The show "I'm a star - get me out of here!" is scheduled to start on January 21st, the 15th season of the reality show will be shot this year in South Africa instead of in Australia as before due to the corona.
