(ANSA) - ROME, 14 JAN - The European transition towards a more sustainable economy risks being "bumpy" if the supply does not adapt quickly enough, and this is already producing consequences with "greater volatility in energy prices, with the use of bridging technologies such as natural gas to bridge the energy gap ".
This was stated by the president of the ECB, Christine Lagarde, adding that "there is a risk that this will weaken the public's confidence in decarbonisation. The solution can only be to accelerate investments in renewables and other green technologies".
