The judge for preliminary investigations of Genoa, Franca Borzone, now retired, had sent to the prosecutor of Siena the report of the postal police in which it was said that the e-mail in which David Rossi announced the suicide had been "created after his death" .
The judge had forwarded the documents after having filed the investigation into the alleged red light festivals in which some Sienese prosecutors would have participated and for this reason they would have closed the investigation into Rossi's death.
The former head of communication of Monte dei Paschi di Siena died on 6 March 2013 after falling from the window of his office in Piazza Salimbeni.
