According to insiders, GTA 6 could become the only Rockstar title for PS5 and Xbox Series X

Fans have been waiting for GTA 6 for years – in vain.

Now a leaker wants information that the next part will be the only title on current consoles.

New York – The rumor mill surrounding GTA 6* continues to simmer, even though Rockstar Games* does not reveal anything about the game.

Officially, fans don't even know if the next big title in Grand Theft Auto is already in development.

Since insiders keep commenting on GTA* 6, it is an open secret that the developer from New York is already working on the next branch.

But GTA 6 could well be the only game for the current consoles PS5* and Xbox Series X*.

Rockstar Games fans have been hoping for an early release of GTA 6 for several years. And every year the hope is disappointed again, because the developer from New York doesn't reveal anything. At least not to GTA 6. Instead, GTA 5 will soon be released for the third generation of consoles. GTA 6 should also appear for the current generation, i.e. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.

Not surprising in itself, after all it wouldn't make sense for Rockstar to release GTA 6 on the Last Gen.

However, an insider says GTA 6 will actually be the only new game from the New York-based developer to be released on the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

That would mean that Rockstar won't release a single game other than GTA 6 for the next five to six years.

So judging by that message, there certainly wouldn't be a second part of Bully.

According to information from Game Informer, Bully 2 has been canceled anyway.

The action-adventure has been a fan favorite for years, with many hoping for a sequel.

Instead, a feature for GTA 6 should now be used*.

Otherwise there is not the best news for the sixth part of the series.

A leaker said that GTA 6 is currently in development hell *.

That would probably also explain why GTA 6 could be the only game for the current generation of consoles.

Who claims that?

The claim that Rockstar Games is only developing GTA 6 for PS5 and Xbox Series X and that no other new games are planned comes from Twitter user AccNGT. The user is already well known in the gaming scene and started a Q&A (question and answer format) on January 7, 2022, in which he answered various questions from the community.

Finally, user Zerkhov asked how many games one could expect from Rockstar for the current generation of consoles.

Grand Theft Auto VI is said to be the only new title from the New York developer for the PS5 and Xbox Series X.

Nevertheless, it is possible that older games will receive new versions for the current generation of consoles.

Of course, GTA 5 starts with the Enhanced & Expanded Version, which is scheduled to appear in March 2022.
