(ANSA) - ROME, JANUARY 15 - Bringing the fast Internet to another 7 million house numbers throughout Italy: with this goal, the Government - through the first of the 1Giga Italian calls - allocates almost 3.7 billion euros of the NRP.
This is stated in a note from the Minister of Technological Innovation and Digital Transition, which sets the deadline for the presentation of offers at 1 pm on March 16, 2022.
The public contribution will cover up to 70% of the expenses incurred while a share of not less than 30% will be borne by the beneficiary.
The announcement is one of the interventions of the National Strategy for Ultra Broadband which also includes plans to connect schools and healthcare structures and to promote the development of 5G networks, planned in succession within the next three months.
