And they also ask to review the quarantine system, the ordinances for schools, more self-surveillance and less isolation for the asymptomatic (ANSA)

Raise the capacity in local public transport vehicles to 80% even in the orange zone, instead of the current 50%.

This is the proposal of the Regions, which ask the Government to make a request to the CTS to express its opinion on this hypothesis.

According to the governors, "with schools in attendance and the lower use of smart working compared to last year, it is not possible to bring students and workers to school and to the workplace, given the current percentage of 50%".

Review quarantine system and school ordinances

- Review the rules on quarantines, Green passes, tampons and competences on ordinances on the suspension of activities in presence in schools. These are some of the proposals that the Regions, under the pressure of the various presidents, could ask the Government. Among the requests is the elimination of the quarantine, providing only self-surveillance for those people positive for Covid but asymptomatic who have done the booster dose or, alternatively, in these cases, impose a quarantine of only five days. The hypothesis is also to remove the obligation of the test at the end of the five days of self-surveillance, for those who have had close contact with a positive. Among the proposals there is also that of avoiding suspending the Green pass to asymptomatic positives with dose booster. Another of the themes on the table, which should be discussed in the Conference of the Regions, there is also to review the criteria and competences on the suspension of teaching activities in schools.
