++ Wanted to kill nurses but accidentally injures another ++

(ANSA) - BARI, 16 JAN - He wanted to kill a nurse who he held responsible for a medical error that years ago had caused a serious illness to a family member.

For an exchange of person, however, he would have stabbed the wrong person, injuring a 54-year-old farmer from Canosa di Puglia (BAT).

The alleged attacker, a 50-year-old from Canosa, is now incarcerated in Trani in custody on charges of attempted murder.

   The attack took place yesterday morning.

The investigations of the Police, coordinated by the Prosecutor of Trani, found that the 54-year-old, with a clean record, was approached by the attacker while he was near his garage.
