The "Apotheken Umschau" celebrates its 66th birthday with a special edition in the style of "Bravo": On the cover of this "Retiree Bravo": Marianne Koch, ex-actress, doctor, presenter and cover girl at 90!

Last August she turned 90, "it's a stupid birthday," says Marianne Koch.

But the former actress, doctor and presenter doesn't let any number slow her down.

The "Apotheken Umschau" is mocked as "pensioner bravo".

The ten-page booklet accompanies the "Apotheken Umschau" - and is a gift from the editors to their approximately 18.43 million readers.

The "Apotheken Umschau" celebrates its 66th birthday;

the “Bravo” also appeared for the first time in 1956.

She has accompanied millions of young people as they grow up, with information about stars, fashion, music and - absolutely!

– “Love, sex and tenderness”.

In short: Both magazines have shaped generations of their target group and enlightened them about (taboo) topics that are relevant to them.

They are legends of (journalistic) passion – and cult.

You can also see that from the fact that the "Apotheken Umschau" has been mocked as "Pensioners Bravo" for years.

But instead of getting offended, the editors took the nickname seriously for the 66th of their magazine and produced the anniversary supplement with health topics in the "Bravo" style. In addition to the interview with Koch, who as an actress was the cover star of "Bravo" and later a columnist for "Apotheken Umschau", there is the Star Report with the "Virus VIPs" Christian Drosten, Karl Lauterbach and Marylyn Addo under the Title "New Profs on the Block". They are the successors of the boy band New Kids on the Block, which reliably caused gasping and broken hearts among the fans from 1984 onwards. The hip comic love story "Love at first bite" tells of a tricky threesome relationship. In short – “Ingrid between two men: who can win her heart,Globetrotter Dieter or pharmacist Peter?” Since the “Apotheken Umschau” (circulation around 7.6 million copies) is bought by pharmacies in Germany from Wort & Bild Verlag in Baierbrunn and passed on to customers free of charge, it is clear which of the two types will win the race for Ingrid's favor.

Of course, the “Retiree Bravo” does not lack the fact that the “Dr. Sommer Team” takes care of the concerns of the readership.
