Focus on key points
Created in the 1920s by Joseph Pilates, this method is gentle gymnastics that listens to the body, a well-trodden path to harmony. We first focus on deep breathing, which determines the control of movement. Then, on the slow fluidity of the sequences, which appeals to the deep muscles. Then, on precision, avoiding parasitic movements between exercises. Priority also to concentration, each movement must be reflected and come from the center of the body. We target “centering”: always bring in the belly, center of gravity, to work the deep abdominals. Stability, the ability to keep the torso still, makes this method elegant. Finally, relaxation is essential to relax the muscles and work on amplitude and flexibility. Short,it is undoubtedly one of the most complete activities there is to maintain, rehabilitate, strengthen and soften the body.

In the room, machine side
Located in an apartment on the second floor of a Parisian building, the Keana studio, by Kay and Édouard, favors the original Pilates. For this, they have invested in the equipment created by Joseph Pilates himself: Reformer, Cadillac, Spine Corrector, Chair, Foot Corrector... Kay, trained between New York and Paris in Pilates Romana by disciples of the master, keeps you in eye during the 55 minutes of lessons, and corrects you with gentleness and precision: group lessons do not exceed six people. As a result, you improve your posture, prevent back or joint pain, and tone your muscles while refining them. More intimate, because reserved for duo or solo lessons, I Love Pilates is the second confidential address of Kay and Édouard, near rue du Bac, in the 7th arrondissement, in Paris:it is rumored that many celebrities have already succumbed to it.

At home, connected to a coach
Hava has also chosen to teach the original method. Trained like Kay at Pilates Romana, a well-known school and following the method of Joseph Pilates as closely as possible, she has launched three distance programs. They include videos, the level of which increases progressively, and access to the "Havathèque" and its videos which explain each posture in order to perform them as well as possible. The goal: repeat the movements 15 minutes a day in the first two programs, then 30 minutes in the third. As a result, we get stronger without danger. The icing on the cake: twice a month, Hava receives you in Zoom to answer your questions, advise you and see your progress.
