Six years after it went off the screen, the "CSI" series returns with a new incarnation that focuses on Las Vegas.
Tonight the series will air on HOT.
"CSI," which aired in 2000, was the most-watched series in the U.S. in the first decade of the 21st century, and was considered the most popular American purchasing series in the world. Who ran for two seasons.
In 2015, it was decided to end the series.
Two years ago, a special union was announced, but the project was delayed because of the Corona, and it was finally decided to go for a sequel, which is "CSI: Las Vegas".
The series aired in the U.S. last fall, and has already been renewed for another season.
At the center of the series is a team of forensic investigators in the city of Las Vegas, who deal with deciphering murders.
The remake combines familiar characters with new ones, including a pair of researchers Dr. Gil Grissom (William Petersen) and Sarah Siddle (Georgia Fox), who return from retirement and join the existing CSI team.

In a panel promoting the series, its creator, Anthony Zacker, said, "The fact that we got back some of the series' veteran actors is a big bonus for fans, and there are more surprises to come.
"Since the last time we saw the team in action science has changed, technologies have evolved, the forensics industry looks different. I think the CSI corporation benefited from the same break of a few years we had because we were able to upgrade the new series with gadgets available to researchers. It's a different world From when we started, somewhere in 2000. "
Zacker added that "we have in hand a treasure chest of more than 800 cumulative episodes of all CSI series from the past, and they serve us as a bank of knowledge to use."
