Participants in the thirty-eighth annual conference of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization called for allocating a center for children’s activity in each school of basic education, the first cycle, establishing an applied school for avant-garde activities in each avant-garde district and a central music institute, and inclusion of the avant-garde subject in the curricula of students of the College of Education and technical and technical institutes.

A number of participants in the conference, which was held today at the Al-Assad National Library, demanded that the organization be involved in preparing school curricula in the basic education stage according to its specializations, raising the value of compensation for the pioneering meeting, disbursing compensation to educational mentors and the nature of work for workers in pioneering activity schools.

The participants recommended re-sending the pioneering pioneers for external participation, representing the organization in legal and judicial bodies in issues related to children’s rights, allocating an organization’s hall to sell school supplies for the basic education stage, and investing parts of the organization’s camps and headquarters in productive projects.

In his speech during the conference, the Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabbaa, stressed that it is not possible to advance education except through the advancement of the teacher’s reality in partnership with the authorities concerned with educational work by providing incentives with a fair system, indicating that rehabilitating schools, developing the study plan, improving teaching methods and building institutional capacity are the most important goals. which the Ministry seeks to achieve.

Minister Tabbaa indicated the ministry's readiness to allocate a school to be a national center for children's activities, including an interactive platform, a permanent exhibition of children's creative products, and a national museum of folklore.

A member of the central leadership of the Arab Socialist Baath Party, head of the Education and Pioneering Office, Yasser Al-Shoufi, drew attention to the role of educators in promoting national belonging and building the generation in a sound educational and scientific manner, calling for a focus on institutional work.

In turn, the head of the Vanguards of the Baath Organization, Dr. Muhammad Ezzat Arabi Katbi, stated that the organization has never stopped performing its tasks through its field work, events and activities, providing psychological support to children and enhancing their patriotism, pointing to the organization’s participatory role with the Ministry of Education in building children intellectually, psychologically and socially because they are the future of the nation .

The head of the Teachers Syndicate, Waheed Al-Zaal, pointed out the importance of the integration of roles and partnership between the union, the organization and the ministry to support and enhance the development of the educational process and achieve the interests of students and teachers in the best possible way, which will be positively reflected on the outcomes of the educational process.

The conference was attended by the Secretary of the Damascus and Rural Damascus Branches of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party, the Assistant Minister of Education, directors of education, secretaries of the organization's branches in the governorates, and educational and party activities.
