The organizers of the upcoming Oscar ceremony, to be held on March 27, have announced that for the first time in four years he will be hosting the ceremony.

For the past three years the Academy Awards have been held without a facilitator.

It started after the scandal that arose with Kevin Hart.

The African-American actor was supposed to host the ceremony in 2019, but then a protest erupted following his old homophobic tweet.

Hart refused to apologize and withdrew from hosting the ceremony, and since then the ceremony has taken place without a facilitator.

But this year the organizers of the ceremony decided to return to the guiding tradition.

The Names Exchange for nominees for directing includes a number of American comedians.

Among the first names thrown into the air are Chris Rock and light-night presenter Jimmy Kimmel.

Both have previously hosted the ceremony and have been praised.

Another comedian whose name came up is Pete Davidson from the sketch show "Saturday Night Live."

The New York Post claims that "his people are already in contact with the producers of the ceremony," and that "he is able to bring in a young audience that is exactly what they need."

Davidson, 28, who was formerly the partner of Ariana Grande, is the new partner of Kim Kardashian.

One of the problems that may arise is that he is an NBC talent, while the Oscar ceremony will be broadcast on ABC.

Other names that have been raised as an option to attract a young audience are actor Tom Holland, who is Spider-Man, and his cinematic partner and in reality Zendaya.

The two may lead as a duo.

Another team that is taken seriously is the three stars of HULU's "Only Murders in the Building" series: Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez, as a kind of cross-generational trio.
