TODI - The first edition of the Todi Biennale will be inaugurated on 11 February next, born from the idea of ​​the gallerist and antiquarian Diego Costantini to bring art to the open spaces of the city of Todi, with an action that enriches the places with unique meanings and unexpected. Symbol of the city and Renaissance masterpiece is the temple of Santa Maria della Consolazione, a place chosen to host, in the space in front, a large environmental installation selected by a jury of exponents of the art world who, starting from the "genius loci" of the temple it will rotate from time to time - explain the promoters - around the concept of Consolation in its vast interpretations and nuances.


    Winner of the first edition of the Biennale, totally dedicated to Chinese artists, is Wang Yuxiang with the project "Think about going out" which will be presented to the public on Friday 11 February at 3 pm and will remain on the lawn in front of the temple of Santa Maria della Consolazione until 28 February 2022 together with his personal exhibition in the spaces of the Tower Gallery by Diego Costantini inside the Caetani Tower.


    Opening the event will be the concert of the Mongolian singer Ulan Xueling and the soprano Laura Toppetti.


    The inauguration program will be enriched by a series of interventions on cultural relations between Italy and China that will involve various disciplines.
