(ANSA) - PARMA, JANUARY 17 - The toll of the road accident that took place Saturday evening in Torrechiara, a town on the Parma hills, rises to two victims. After the Parmesan Josef Venturini, 18 years old last December, who died a few hours after the clash, Martina Karakach, 17-year-old residing in Pilastro di Langhirano (Parma), also died. The Journal of Parma reports it.
The girl had been hospitalized in the reanimation ward of the Maggiore of Parma but the injuries sustained in the clash did not give her a chance. Also in the resuscitation ward of the Parmesan hospital, another twenty-year-old boy is under desperate conditions.
The three were aboard a Mercedes which, due to reasons being examined by the carabinieri, collided with a Ford driven by a 56-year-old woman, who was slightly injured.
Among the hypotheses a probable failure to respect a priority at an intersection.
