The allegations sound outrageous: A suspected fraudster is said to have completely invented at least eleven corona test centers and billed fictitious tests and vaccinations.
Therefore, charges have been brought against the woman in Essen.
According to a report to the legal committee of the state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia, damage of 1.1 million euros is said to have occurred.
Most of the money had been secured, it said.
The accused is in custody.
According to the Ministry of Justice, charges were brought before a lay judge in Essen on January 7th.
According to this, the woman is said to have registered eleven test sites nationwide with associations of statutory health insurance physicians online, "that actually did not exist." 925,000 euros of the alleged loot could be secured by bank account attachments.
