Death of Lucienne Moreau, made famous by the "Petit Journal" or "Groland"

Sad news for Canal + fans.

The actress Lucienne Moreau, aged 88, died, announced several personalities including the former deputy of Val-d'Oise Philippe Doucet and the host Christophe Beaugrand.

Originally from Mayenne but living in Argenteuil (Val-d'Oise) for several decades, she got into comedy late in life and notably made appearances in "Groland".

But it was thanks to the "Petit Journal", still on the encrypted channel, that she particularly became known to the general public in 2010. She then played the quirky reporters in Yann Barthès' show.

Lucienne Moreau has also distinguished herself on the radio, notably on the morning show of Virgin Radio from 2013, as Christophe Beaugrand pointed out in a tweet.

The senior has also made several appearances on the big screen, notably in the films “D-Day” or “Who killed Bambi?

In addition to his former radio colleague, Philippe Doucet also expressed his “tremendous sadness” at the disappearance of the actress, specifying also that she “actively participated in the cultural and associative life of our city”.
