According to our information, Guillaume Dubois should soon recover the position of general manager of the television channel broadcast in 160 countries and whose headquarters are based in Lyon.
This appointment would take place in favor of an upcoming change in shareholding.
At the end of December, the Alpac Capital investment fund, based in Portugal, announced its intention to buy 88% of Euronews, held by the holding company of Egyptian billionaire Naguib Sawiris.
The takeover by Alpac Capital will in principle be effective by March.
