Mount Hermon is painted white;
This is how it looks from different parts of Israel
The white-painted Hermon, combined with the blue sky, has led many to document the beautiful view and many Walla!
Send us great photos of the White Mountain, even from the air (!).

This is what Mount Hermon from the Galilee looks like, January 17, 2022 (Photo: Hanna Tabak)
The Hermon site was painted white at night, after heavy snow fell this week, so we asked surfers to send us photos of the mountain, and we received a variety of spectacular photos of the white "grandfather" from around the country.
Some of the photos that were sent were taken in the Golan Heights, where the colors of the White Mountain are combined with the green hills and give it a great look.
We also received photos from the Galilee - from Kiryat Shmona, Kibbutz Tzivon and more - and also from Haifa and the Carmel, where Mount Hermon is clearly visible today (Monday) over the Galilee mountains.
We even got an aerial photo from the center of the country (though not sure from today) where you can see the summit of the White Mountain from the sky, and it is still impressive.
Here is a selection of great photos of Mount Hermon, which will warm the heart on cold days this week.
More on Walla!
