Sampdoria announces that they have relieved Roberto D'Aversa from the position of manager in charge of the first team.

"The coach and the members of his staff - reads the official note - go to the thanks for the seriousness and professionalism shown during the period of work in the club".

After Roberto D'Aversa's sacking, Sampdoria is experiencing hectic hours because tomorrow night the team will take the field in Turin for the first knockout rounds of the Italian Cup with Juventus.

The session, but it is not yet official, should be managed by the former player Angelo Palombo who has long been a technical collaborator alongside the coaches who have succeeded on the Sampdoria bench.

Alternatively, it could be the turn of the Primavera coach Felice Tufano.

Sampdoria, after the exoneration of D'Aversa, would have already reached an agreement with Marco Giampaolo, already at Sampdoria from 2016 to 2019, until June and would be working in the biennial in case of salvation: an agreement is sought on the salary that could be around 1 million and 200 thousand euros per season.
