In Lower Saxony, several intoxicated friends tried to pick each other up from a police station. On Monday evening, the police in Bad Zwischenahn near Oldenburg found during a vehicle check that the driver was under the influence of drugs. According to the announcement, a preliminary test suggested cannabis. The police took the driver to the police station for a blood test. Because he was forbidden to continue driving, the driver called a friend to pick him up.
When he came to the station in his own car, he also appeared intoxicated, according to the police.
A drug test showed amphetamines and he also had to give a blood sample.
So now both friends were stuck at the station, which is why they informed a third friend.
When he entered the station, according to the statement, the officers “were amazed” – because he was also not roadworthy.
"It had to be stopped now," the police said.
Since no reliable driver could be organized, the officers took the car keys of the first alleged collector into official custody.
"Clear words followed," it said.
The three officers promised that they would “present a suitable driver the following day”.
